Description
"Solitaire Twist" from iWin is a new take on an old favorite. The game ships with solitaire games including "Klondike", "Pyramid", "Freecell", and "Spider", some with variations. But what makes this a TWIST is that we have added "Cheat Tokens" and Wild Cards that give the player the unique opportunity to work their way through the most challenging of game situations without the restrictions of having just the hand you are dealt.
You're in control! You can choose to experiment with up to 12 "Cheat Tokens" and 3 Wild Cards.
Of course, nothing comes for free...We'll give you one Wild Card to start, but you'll have to earn the rest of the goodies on your own ; )
Beyond the cool "Cheat Tokens" and Wild Cards, Solitaire Twist also offers:
* TROPHIES
-Collect trophies for playing each of the games. There are trophies for different types of win scenarios, score thresholds, etc.
* CARD COLLECTIONS
-Each time you win a game, you earn a chance to collect a card. Collect the entire set for every game mechanic until you collect them all! A great way to compare your progress with your friends.
* IN-APP STORE:
-Now we're talkin'! Not only can you purchase additional game mechanics (a full schedule of new mechanics are on the calendar already!), BUT you can also customize your game with fresh and exciting backgrounds and card sets. Mix and match any of these to create YOUR game's look!!! We'll be continually adding more themes. Holidays, Special occassions, Hobbies, Interests, Seasons. You name it. Great game but needs some tweaks
First of all I love this game especially after adding the additional game pack. What would make this a 5 star game would be: faster load time, better multitasking (will usually have to fully reload when switching to another app), lower number of wins for cheats (50, 100, 250 etc means potentially having to play thousands of games to advance). Other than those, this is by far my favorite solitaire app.
Fun, addictive games
Great interface but it took me forever to get the hang of Freecell. Now that I have the hang of it, though, I am stuck with the (really low) low statistics. Isn't there a way to reset the statistics now that I have the hang of the game?
Needs tweaking
Okay, I DO love this app. The sounds, backgrounds, & cards are really good. But, there are several issues that need fixing/added. First, it keeps saying that I've unlocked different cards of each "game" deck but NONE have been unlocked except one card in each. I've already played hundreds of each game so at this rate, I will NEVER unlock the decks. Second, id like to be able to play in portrait mode. YES I know it will make the cards tiny, but I prefer that to constantly having to scroll which I absolutely HATE having to do since I play scorpion & spider the most. And finally, the chip thing everyone is mentioning. You should be able to unlock at 10, 25, 50 & 100 not 50, 100, 250 & 1000 - that is RIDICULOUS!
Fix these three things and you will get a 5 star from me & have the best solitaire game in the app store. Til then, I'll give you 3 stars for what I DO like about this game.
