Colorblind mode
I just want to give major props to the devs. I bought this game but struggled badly because i'm color blind. I really enjoyed the game but since I was so slow in determining which color is which it often took me losing a life or more before I could finally pass the level. I emailed the guys at 10Tons and asked if they were planning on adding a color blind mode. Not only did I get a response by the next day but the dev was cool enough to ask for my suggestions. I just told him that i've played a game before that used patterns on the colors and that worked best for me. Now the update is out with color blind mode and I can play the game with zero problems. Thanks to 10tons!!
The most stunning ball shooter ever!
I have played Sparkle on the PC for awhile now and it never ceases to amaze and challenge me. The iPhone version has been created perfectly and doesn't disappoint! Gorgeous graphics, amazing music and a realistic feel all combine together for a fun, spooky, vibrant experience! And there are tons of "secrets" to unlock and discover, which will have you clicking on everything to try and find another one! 10tons is one of my favorite developers and I would recommend all of their games for great-looking, addictive fun!
One huge flaw
I would give Sparkle a full 5 stars if I could: great design, wonderful difficulty curve, responsive controls, you name it.
EXCEPT... no color-blind mode! It starts out difficult for color-blind players, and becomes next to impossible once new ball colors are introduced.
Pretty please, folks... the game either needs an option to increase the contrast between ball colors, or more intrusively, an option to overlay clear, unique symbols over them.
