Given the knowledge, intuition, and desire to answer the next question, you can visualize, aggregate, filter, and drill into data sets of virtually any size. You can reach insights faster with Spotfire and bring clarity to business issues or opportunities so all decision-makers get on the same page quickly.
Spotfire for the iPad requires access to a TIBCO Spotfire Web Player Server. By default, the app is connected to our public demo gallery so you can start experiencing data in Spotfire immediately. After that, you can connect to your internal server, or you can connect to public servers.
Supported Platforms
The Spotfire App has been tested with iOS version 4.3.5 and higher on the iPad, and with version 3.2.1 and higher of the Spotfire Web Player.
Supported server authentication types:
Spotfire Server authentication type -- Web Player authentication type
Basic (Spotfire database, LDAP)* -- Basic/Forms
Basic (Spotfire database, LDAP)* -- Anonymous
Kerberos -- Windows integrated auth
NTLMv2 -- Windows integrated auth
*Also works with SSL enabled on the Spotfire Server with basic authentication.

Known Issues
- Client certificate server authentication is only supported through the Apple Safari web browser, not through the native Spotfire app
- Users cannot log in to tibbr® subjects embedded within analyses using the Collaboration Panel
