Description
Sudden Impact is a space adventure shooter game where you command a series of Satellites Orbiting Lasers, trying to keep the planet from being destroyed by encroaching asteroids. With hundreds of asteroids plummeting towards earth, it's up to you to save humanity from an extinction-level catastrophe! Aim your target reticle at the asteroids and fire, but time and aim your shots carefully, because it take 5 seconds to recharge the laser after each shot. Luckily, the asteroid's destructive blast will collide with each other to create a chain reaction of destruction, but you only have 30 seconds from when they're in range of your laser sites to destroy them all.
Can you stop the extinction on humanity and save the human race from this Extinction Level Event? It's total chaos in Sudden Impact, new from JAZ Games.

Surprisingly addictive
An interesting take on the "blow up the asteroids" game. The accelerometer controls take a little getting used to but are a lot of fun once you do. The graphics and music are great, much better than I was expecting at this price point. The game gets more challenging at the higher levels. A great way to kill a few minutes waiting for the train!
New take on the old Asteroid game
A nice reimagining of an old classic game. I like the use of the accelerometer, and find that it gets pretty challenging in later levels. The key is to fire in the center really early to take out the majority of the asteroids in one blow. I only wish that for such simple and casual gameplay that it launched faster.

This game is actually a lot of fun. The accelerometer controls are kind of tricky but I think it adds another challenge to the game. Smooth graphics, quality music, and even a little story thrown in there make it worth the $1.99.
