Description
TakAlign allows you to easily polar align your Takahashi P2-Z, EM-10, NJP or EM-500 mount. It shows a representation of the Takahashi polar scope reticle with the alignment star shown in its correct position given your time and longitude. The application can be configured to align either on Polaris in the northern hemisphere or Sigma Octantis in the southern hemisphere. The display updates the position every second ensuring accurate polar alignment.
What's New in Version 1.1
-Fixed a bug where the alignment star's coordinates weren't being precessed to the JNow epoch. This resulted in a slightly incorrect position in the reticle.
- Added a zoom feature for easier reading of the display. You double-tap the display to zoom in or out.
- Added the current Julian date to the display.
