Description
Tapcloud is OpenFeint's Free Game of the Day! Download the Game Channel app to get a FREE game every day!
Also a FreeAppReport.com Featured App!
Tapcloud is an augmented reality game that you play by moving around in the real world! Capture the flying clouds, chase planes, and catch falling stars -- using your phone as a motion controller!
See a preview video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bV7bU5Tzxs
There are clouds all around you: move your phone to touch them before the timer runs out. As each level increases in difficulty, and more colors appear, you'll need to find sequences of the same color to survive. But you'll also need to chase fast-moving airplanes, and rapidly tumbling stars.
This game will get you out of your chair, and keep you on your toes. And it'll even tell you how many calories you burned while moving around!
Features Game Center and OpenFeint leaderboards: compare your score to other players around the world!
Player comments:
"It's as addictive as popping packing bubbles!" A.K.
"Love this game, if I could I'd be playing RIGHT NOW. Get in on this, people." P.C.
What's New in Version 3.0

It's ok
It's a might tedious...almost like a kid's game. AR Invaders is more mature and interesting, but this is good for the younger generation.
I don't recommend playing either while in a government parking lot, elementary school zone, playground, etc.
I was playing AR Invaders in a police headquarters parking lot while waiting for my husband. One of the officers approachedy car and explained that because of homeland security and all, I couldn't take videos of the building, or anyone entering/exiting the premises.
I explained the game, and he thought it was pretty cool. He told me I could continue to play, but to avoid further suspicion, I put it away for later.
Actually, I should post this th their review forum.
Anyway, it is a pretty good game.
I mentioned AR Invaders, but it wouldn't hurt to have both, since they are differently the same. This one, you actually poke the item (may be more fun than ARI); and with ARI, you line up the space ship with the target, and hit a button to shoot. ARI is more challenging to some, and more realistic. But this isn't totally a kid game, even though the objects look cartoonish.
You'll probably enjoy playing both of them. But, like I warned, playing this app appears to others as if you are videotaping. Pay attention to where you are playing it.
Fun and different
Love this new version with planes and stars! A very nice simple game, physically move around to find the differwnt colored clouds and tap them on the screen. Strangely addictive. Tells you how many calories you burn at the end too.
Addictive!
OMG awesome game! I played this for 2 hours when I should have been doing work, whoops!
