A great complimentary app!
I was suprised when I heard that Teavana had an app (v1), and even more suprised to see how well it was put together. The menu is easy to navigate, so once you have the app, you don't have to spend too long trying to figure out how it works. Great information about the teas, which flows into the timer, (if steeping), or even purchasing the tea online. The store locator uses Google maps, and I've found it very useful to find the best location closest to me. The tea blender is the most intersting thing for me, as I've never thought about creating my own custom blends, always been nervous about it. But I think I may actually try it out and see what the recommendations give me, espeically for teas I already have at home. I look forward to using this app more and comparing the info I'm familar with on the website. Otherwise, a great start and I recommend that if anyone buys these fantastic teas, to make use of this app.
Great application for steeping tea!
As a longtime tea drinker, this application makes it incredibly easy to steep tea and discover new blends! I love the music that plays when I steep my morning blend. Awesome app, Teavana!
Fantastic app for tea lovers!
This is really user-friendly and has virtually everything you need to enjoy Teavana teas outside of drinking them. The timer is so cool, I love the music and how the tea leaves fall to the bottom when your tea is done steeping. I also like how they give specific steep times, since I've found that 2 minutes for some of the white teas is too long and can make them bitter. It's nice to see the exact ingredients in the teas, too. The only thing I think could be improved is adding the amount of caffeine on each of the tea pages because some people might be concerned about that and would like to know exactly how much is in each tea.
