This is disappointing.
I downloaded this app, excited to play Tetris once again. Quickly, however, I learned the true motivation of EA in releasing this game. I'll get to that in a moment. For starters, the original play mode is very awkward to control on a touch screen - almost useless. The one touch concept is pretty neat, but cycling through possibilities on a fast paced level is almost impossible - poorly executed. The galaxy mode is pretty interesting, almost like a puzzle. However, you start to realize you need to accrue points (t-coins in the game) to use some of the features, which you get by doing well in the galaxy mode... Or by paying for them. Almost everything in this game can be bought and some things MUST be purchased. There is a right way and a wrong way to get folks to pay for things in apps. Rehashing an old favorite and putting an unrealistic price tag on everything is not the way to do it...
Keeps crashing.
I just bought this game and I haven't even been able to play it because it crashes. Fix this or give me my money back.
Way to ruin a good thing!
This version of tetris takes all the fun out of the brilliant original. One touch is basically Tetris for people who don't like surprises and don't take risks. It's the most boring game there is. They claim that Marathon mode is the original tetris, and although it does allow you to move the piece around manually, it still gives you a shadow to let you know exactly where you are going to drop the piece. (basically taking all the fun out of the game) give us TETRIS CLASSIC! This is soo boring. BOOOO!
