Customer Reviews

Great pics, horrible app. $3 bookmark.

While I enjoy the great photography of the BIG PICTURE, this app is absolutely the biggest rip off to date. All it does is open a browser to boston.com website. It's a $3 bookmark. If you're capable of making a bookmark in Safari, avoid this app. It does provide anything more than what you already get in a browser. For free, this app would still be just a bookmark. For $3, it's a scam.

Laggy

The LEAST, the very least they could have done is pre-load subsequent pictures. I'm a big fan of the website, this app made me hate them a little bit. If you're a fan like me, stay the heck away from this app!

Doesn't work, false advertising

I can't swipe through the galleries, and now it just opens the website. The indicator at the bottom of the screen shows that I've swiped to the next gallery, but I still see the same title and main image. When I launch a gallery, it just takes me to the Boston.com website. I expected an experience like the Guardian or NY Times apps. The screenshots in the app store don't show the app just pulling up the website. They show an attractive photo gallery display. This is false advertising.
