Good app, but needs improvement
Overall, the content and layout of this app is wonderful.
I would like three things to give it 5 stars:
1) the new content needs to download in the background without the need to authorize the download or keep the app open in order to download.
2) the app needs to allow for the option to select words to define them and search. An HTML format would be better.
3) A larger tech/social media section.
Extremely disappointed
The content is good. The price is fair.
The promised iPhone version does not work properly and my iPad account does not unlock the articles as promised. Very annoyed that they do not seem to be able to fix this or make it work for me. FAIL.
First thing I read every morning
The Daily has become my Go-To Newsstand app and is always the first thing I read every morning (once I've caught up with a night's worth of emails).
