Share your event via email, Facebook, and Twitter to let your friends know which events you’re attending. The Event uses Facebook API to allow users to share events and check-in to venues. The Event allows you to check-in to venues using your Facebook account; you can easily authorize The Event to post to your account using Facebook’s Single-Sign-On platform.
The Event was developed by an ambitious computer science college student in Boston. SonsterMedia has developed four other iOS applications that are available on the App Store.
The Event for iOS requires a Facebook account and a valid internet connection for some features. Twitter account required for posting to Twitter.

Useless
This app does pretty much nothing. I thought it would sync up to Facebook events but no, it doesn't. You can't even make a Facebook event with it, only share that you are planning an event. Can't invite people, can't do anything worth paying money for. Useless!!

I may be a little biased, but The Event has beautiful graphics, powerful features, and helps me manage all my events, parties, and work functions
