All I can say is fabulous
This game is so much fun I play it for hours at a time! It really brings me back to when I was a kid and use to play this game in the computer lab!
Rip Off
What a disappointment. I remember playing Oregon Trail on an Apple II. This is not that game. The game is plagued by long load times, minimal control over the wagon and supplies, and buggy responsiveness. You can't even slaughter buffalos whenever you want -- you can only hunt when prompted, fish when prompted, etc. Save your $6. This ain't the Oregon Trail of your childhood.
Not worth $4.99!
I purchased this game after having a nice flashback to when I was a kid and how much I enjoyed playing the original Oregon Trail game. Maybe it was because I was just a child, but the original seemed a lot more fun than this game. There doesn't seem like there is much depth to the game. There's the classic "characters mouths moving randomly while you're reading text" scenario, which I still find annoying. Maybe my kid will enjoy it. 99 cents maybe, but NOT worth $4.99!
