Crashy - DON'T PAY FOR THIS APP
Do not pay for this app. It's not even worth ninety-nine cents based on its reliability and certainly not $4.99 (I picked it up when it was still free.) The app is very balky and will often crash at startup (version 2.0.0 running on an iPod touch (late 2009) model running 3.1.1 firmware). There are some graphics/text rendering and formatting issues as well, the "new schedules" badges show up on the wrong transit agency, text displayed upside down, text spilling over into something else on the screen. The previous schedule database was missing some trains; it appears to have been corrected, but I have lost trust in this app's authority. Also, this app does not do fare calculation like competing apps do and Caltrain train numbers are absent. If you download a newer schedule, it often will not replace the old schedule. You have to delete the old one first, then download the new one. Lame. Another indication of amateurish coding is the misspelling of "downloading." I am not joking. There really isn't anything that resembles QA for this project. I am very tempted to dump this app and add back the standalone transit apps from other developers. About the only saving grace for this app are the built-in maps, but you can always just add a map image to your Photo Library, so that's certainly not work any money. DO NOT PAY MONEY FOR THIS APP. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. FIND TRANSIT FREEBIES ELSEWHERE. YOU ARE THROWING AWAY YOUR MONEY AND TIME WITH THIS ONE.
Nice when it works
I agree with others here. It only opens ~60% the time for me When it does open it provides what I need. Frustrated...they should have tested it more for the price.
Schedule not accurate
Metro north schedule is not accurate November 24, 2010. Not even close. This program is a rip off. How do i get my money back?
