Description
Things is a beautifully focused and amazingly intuitive task manager. Other todo applications either oversimplify or are too difficult to use. Things instead offers the perfect balance between ease of use and powerful features.
Effortlessly manage to-dos, notes, due dates, and projects. A smart today list and the scheduling feature allow you to work as effectively as possible - every day.
You can even sync wirelessly with the desktop version of Things (sold separately) using Wi-Fi.
"What’s most striking about the iPad version of Things is that, like the Mac version, it presents a stunning interface that could entice even the most disorganized user to, well, get things in order." Macworld.com, ★★★★1/2

Sync nightmare
When I just had Things for Mac it was one of my favorite applications. When I got Things for iPhone I thought it was a great app and forgave the syncing hassle because it was nice to be able to add and update todos on the go and we were told cloud sync was coming soon. Well that was maybe two or more years ago and still no cloud sync. Now that I have the iPad version, which on its own is beautiful, the whole suite has become more or less useless to me because my devices never agree. Syncing three devices manually over wifi all the time is just not practical, especially for an application that is meant to increase productivity. Shame on the developers for ignoring our pleas for so long and shame on me for wasting my money. I'm switching back to omnifocus which may be pricey and a tad over complicated but at least it works.
Good app but without cloud sync useless
Good app. Beautiful interface. Unfortunately this app still does not support cloud sync. Cultured Code has been promising this for a long time, but has yet to come through. These kinds of feature requests have plagued things as a todo platform. The developers do not seem like they care about producing a viable product based on what their users want.
Good But Still One Major Complaint
ANOTHER UPDATE, (1.2) ANOTHER DISAPPOINTMENT:
Still no wide entry screen for tasks/notes. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make the entry screen wider. To me, the app would be PERFECT if you made this change.
COMMENTS ON VERSION 1.1:
Update is a HUGE disappointment. One simple UI change, I.e., widen the notes section from it's anorexic width to make it useful and they didn't do it. They don't listen as I am certainly not the only one who has requested this change.
PREVIOUS COMMENTS:
OK, I paid the high price for this app and, don't get me wrong, it's mostly great, stable, syncs well, etc., but you can't really use it for 'writing.' I've tried for close two two months.
The input window you use for creating notes is stupidly narrow, a small UI issue which could be easily fixed, but the developers haven't released an update in a month and a half. Were it not for this, I would 'live' in this app, but now I rarely use it. Such a shame. This issue has been a heavy topic on the Things forums, everybody wants it and still nothing.
If you plan on taking extensive notes you may want to consider something else, as I don't think these guys really listen to their customers.
Maybe they're working on a major update and will surprise me. I hope so because what is there works quite well.
