Double charged for traffic add-on, and I still don't have traffic add-on
My traffic subscription had ran out so I tried to buy a new subscription today after the 1.9 update. After a nightmare contacting TomTom support trying to get my TomTom ID to work, I have been double charge for traffic and still don't have it. TomTom says it's not their problem and I have to contact Apple. What horrible customer service. I love paying for something (twice) and not even getting the item you pay for. Hopefully Apple will come through for me but they only work through email so no phone support. Meanwhile I'm stuck with a $40 sum dollar charge with nothing to show for it. I will not be using this app in the future and not recommend it to anyone. (past issues + current problems)
Transfers to/from iPad do Not Work
I thought that finally it would be great to be able to have TomTom on both an iPhone and iPad along with the Traffic subscription. However, after transferring the Traffic subscription from the original installation on an iPhone to the new iPad App, which works just fine, there is no way to Restore Purchases back to the iPhone. It keeps opening an iTunes login along with the TomTom account login and because of the competition between the logins, you lose-- no transfer back to the iPhone ever happens.
TomTom needs to fix this. Now I'm stuck with no Traffic Services on my iPhone.
** Update- I was able to move the Traffic service back to the iPhone by putting both the iPhone and iPad on 3G and not WiFi. Strange, but there is the slightest hint of that in the App under the purchase description of traffic HD.
HD Traffic fail.
I should be able to activate the subscription on both (all) devices hosting the app I've purchased.
Please fix this. It doesn't make sense that I should have to deactivate the service on my iPhone so that I can use it on my iPad. I'm able to use the app on both devices simultaneously, after all.
I shouldn't have to plan ahead. It should just work.
