TrackMyTour lets you create an online map of your journey for family and friends to follow along. Thousands of travellers have already used TrackMyTour to chronicle and share their vacations, business trips, bike tours, hikes, road trips, and boat cruises.
HOW IT WORKS
- Create a map and share the map link with your friends and family.
- Go travelling and add waypoints whenever you want to highlight a location or just say, "Here I am!" Waypoints can include text and a photo.
- Your friends and family can follow a breadcrumb trail of your tour by visiting the link you sent them.

TrackMyTour is not a real-time tracker, which saves battery power and keeps roaming costs at a minimum. Waypoints can also be saved offline when a network connection is not available, and submitted later when you're online (e.g., hotel WiFi).

A perfect app for any trip or tour! A+
I have used this app for my bike touring adventures and have loved everything about it. It's simple and intuitive to use. The format and resulting maps are fun, and easy for others to follow my progress. It has seamless integration with Twitter and Facebook and is my go-to app in documenting adventures. Lastly, customer service is top-notch! I've contacted TMT support a few times and each response was fast and courteous. TMT goes above and beyond to make a) their app work perfectly and b) their users happy!
Perfect Vacation Tracking App
I have been waiting for this type of app for some time. I used it on a recent trip to Sequoia National Park and it was great! I was afraid it would be useless without any cell reception up in the forest. The app still caught my GPS location and allowed me to save my posts.
A few things that I'd love to see in future updates: 1. The ability to bring up a list of specific businesses/locations near my GPS location rather than just a GPS pin (like Instagram or Facebook). 2. An option to track along roads a little better than straight lines without numerous waypoints (this is nitpicking though...I'd be thrilled with option #1!).
With that said, this is a great social app and I look forward to seeing it grow!
