Great, but still missing basics
I like the navigation in this app better than any other twitter app. But there are three things holding it back from perfection:
1) No push notification option for tweets from selected users.
Boxcar has had this forever, but no other twitter app seems to want to add it. Every time my best friends posts a tweet I want to be notified. Not just when they mention me or send a direct message. Why is Boxcar the only one that can figure this out?
2) No offline caching for links, photos, etc.
People now use twitter as a RSS replacement. However, unlike RSS apps, twitter apps do not have an option to cache the links and photos in a tweet so you can read the whole related article offline on a plane, etc. So you can read the headline, but as soon as you click the link to read the story, you need a connection to open it. This makes it useless without a data connection and the sole reason I still use RSS feeds.
3) No unread count.
Again, people use twitter as a news source now, so seeing how many new unread articles you have in each list would be handy.

Thanks for MUTE! It's nice how you can temporarily mute.
The ability to easily see a conversation thread (right swipe) and all replies (left swipe) is invaluable. I don't even know how to see the latter in the official Twitter client. Everything about this app is polished and rock-solid.

Clearly this is THE BEST twitter client for iOS!! Finally, the power to Enable/Disable RT's is on Tweetbot! I don't have to fully mute those people who loves to RT! You are definitely #1!!!!
