Über-Boston is way too expensive !!!
I think Über is way too expensive!! Don't get me wrong, it's classy especially if you don't have a car and you would like to take someone on a fancy date, it's definitely a great app! Also if your stranded and you just want to get home immediately, it's a great app! but if your looking for a ride in general Über vs Cab....A CAB is way lot less EXPENSIVE!!!
A cab from Downtown Boston to Cambridge,Ma. Is usually between
$8-$10, I used the Über app thinking I might save some money or it being the same amount, it was actually double!!!! I ended up paying almost $20 when i couldve just taken a regular cab. And also a cab shows you the amount your being charge whereas Über doesn't tell you the amount, they just automatically deduct it from your credit card!!!!!!
