Description

This application provides users with background on UMBC’s Instructional Systems Development – Training Systems graduate program. This applied online graduate program is for people who design, deliver, support and measure training, learning and performance within organizations. This program enables graduates to work in it for eye positions such as instructional designers, trainers, instructional technology specialist, and other workplace learning professional positions. It provides a solid grounding in theory of instructional design while providing students with opportunities to apply what they have learned in real projects with real clients. Throughout the program, students also have an opportunity to develop their own professional portfolio.


The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is mid-sized public research university in Baltimore Maryland. It is a member of the University System of Maryland and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. UMBC has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the number one “up and coming national university” for two years in a row. The Instructional Systems Development graduate program was created in 1969 and was UMBC’s first Master’s degree.
