The Oath of Brothers: A THRILLING STORYLINE

STORYLINE
The story is based on the Three Kingdoms era and begins where Guan Yu receives the news of Liu Bei. He leaves Cao Cao escorting the wives of Liu Bei. Cao Cao’s subordinates felt that Guan Yu behaved far too rudely and arrogantly by leaving without bidding farewell and wanted to pursue and bring him back. However, Cao Cao gives Guan Yu a clear passage to travel as he is well aware that none of his generals can defeat him.
Guan Yu begins his journey to reunite with his sworn brother, Liu Bei. Along the 5 passes, he encounters 6 generals. The generals of Cao Cao refuse to clear the way for Guan Yu. Infuriated, Guan Yu kills all of them. However, he soon realizes that Liu Bei was no longer in Yuan’s territory and had left for Runan. Guan Yu and his party then make their long journey back and finally reunite with Liu Bei and Zhang Fei.

Great game
Gamevil does it again with Vanquish. One of the few developers that really makes iphone gaming fun. The production value in this game is something you would see in a psp/ds game. Great gameplay amazing art design, a little short but well worth the wait.
UPDATe.... After finishing the game, I have realized that your playing the same levels with the same characters and the same animations on all levels. This is gamevils worst game in the since that after the first couple of levels everything else is copied and pasted....
Don't buy until a major update occurs.

I bought this game on impulse because it said "artistic" and I'm a sucker for polished, pretty apps. I was honestly just curious about the animation style. In reality, it's really not visually attractive or smooth at all - it feels like I bought a game made for a 14 year old. Which is cool. It's just not the "classic hack n slash" (??) advertised. This isn't classic at all, the controls are very disorienting and after playing through the first two chapters I'm still frustrated and confused by them. When you play it in slow the framerate crashes, when you play it on fast the bosses behead you in seconds and it's chaos. On top of all that, the game really isn't that fun to me. Gameplay is lacking and many enough other problems to make this two stars :[

The controls don't seem to fit it would be alot better if they worked to together :/
