Dash, Rush, Splash, or Mush: Same Swindle, Still "Warped"
*****UPDATE: SGN IS UNWORTHY OF OUR PATRONAGE*****
In what can only be described as a pathetic attempt to cover up the growing slime that has now come to define SGN, this “update” (subsequent to their other recent “update”) is a clear and unscrupulous attempt to bury the deluge of scathing reviews this seller has received—and most deservedly so. You had an opportunity to undo the wrong in which you "re-locked" content for which I and apparently many other users paid to unlock. What's wrong with you (apart from the obvious)? Please, folks, don’t support the sellers and developers that ultimately fail to support us, their once loyal customers, and let’s please boycott their software. I wholeheartedly believe they deserve this, without the slightest doubt in mind.
*****WARNING: DO NOT UPDATE—SGN DISRESPECTS THEIR USERS*****
To be eminently clear, I can appreciate how a lesser-known seller/developer (compared to the big giants in the industry) might need to pull in some additional revenue in the form of the now ubiquitous and inescapable (yes, please feel free to groan along with me over it all) “in-app purchases” in order to stay financially afloat, let alone compete within the iOS market and ideally make some profit en route. I would venture to say that all of us as users have at least some empathy over the status quo of a playing field that is anything but level. It’s not fair, we get it, and we might even foot some of the bill in the form of, ugh, in-app purchases, particularly when creative merits warrant such user contribution. I contributed myself having purchased all of the locked items shortly after downloading this game. All of that said, SGN, it has become obvious that you have been manipulating this system ever since Warp Dash sped onto the scene, and now you’re just downright abusing it, all while insulting the intelligence of us, your loyal users. I wholeheartedly believe without the slightest doubt in mind that SGN, evidenced by this latest “update,” has revealed itself to be an overly mercenary and unscrupulous seller/developer that is de facto making a mockery of us, their loyal customers; in turn, let’s please not send them a penny more and instead, boycott their software entirely. What this “update” represents is a means by which SGN could sneak in a dishonorable way to “re-lock” material within Warp Dash, even for consumers such as myself, who already paid beyond the asking price and in the form of in-app purchases to have such content unlocked in the first place. Perhaps the shady business trick of “bait and switch” is already coming to mind. And it should, because that’s precisely what SGN is doing here. I can and will only speak for myself, but this kind of devious tactic, as far as I'm concerned, is simply shameful, and signifies to me that SGN ultimately has no business doing business within a company as reputable as Apple, for even the Almighty Apple’s intelligence is disrespected along with that of our own. I had absolutely no idea that SGN would re-lock the content I purchased once again after updating the software, nor would I have purchased any of it in the first place, including quite possibly the very game itself, had I known this would transpire. This kind of deceitful, dishonest, and disloyal sort of business practice really makes my blood boil because we, the users, are expected to be duped, all for what amounts to petty, monetary gain. Within this rapidly growing industry, it’s all but inevitable that the bad apples of the bunch will find their way to the market, and try to wrestle their way onto our iDevices. But we can stop them, and denounce their unprincipled business practices. SGN has made their expedient and self-serving move, and now by denouncing them and boycotting their software, we stand ready to make ours.
Really bad update.
Up until this update all of the ships were unlocked and now you only get two ships and you have to pay for the rest of the ships. Really badly updated. Fail on the creators part.
update
K... Last update made it great, I was able to unlock almost all the ships, and was fully enjoying the game...
With this most recent update... All of the ships and boosters that I had unlocked are all locked again... And can only be unlocked with real $$$ through IAPs...
