Description
The 'Wines' comprises "Vintage Chart", "Wine Glossary" and "Wine Search" functions.
When you choose or buy a wine, It is a useful application for answering questions such as
how good or bad of a Bordeaux wine (of a particular vintage year), the name of artist who drew Château mouton (of a particular year),
the meaning of wine glossary such as "bouchonne", and also the details of different brands of wine.
☆Application Description
1) Major wine regions and vintage chart are displayed
The vintage year and place of production and the detailed history of each regions can be found.
The quality of wine will be judged from the climatic factors of each region and graded in a 5-points scale.
Vintage Years: widely covers from 1961-2007
Regions: The left and right coast of Bordeaux, Sauternes, Bourgogne, Beaujolais, Champagne, North and South Rhone, Loire, Alsace in France.
Piemonte and Tuscana in Italy. Germany, Spain, Portugal, and California.
2) Major glossary of wine terms
The most popular glossary of wines were picked up.
・All the words will be recorded in the reading history, you can refresh your memory simply by bookmarking the word.
・More wine jargons will be updated in the near future.
3) Wine Search Engine
Place of origin, kinds of grapes, vintage year, wine type (white, red, etc.)
You can search freely by inputting different combination of keywords, and get the detail information of a particular wine.
・details of an individual wine will be displayed.
Information such as the brand of wine, place of origin, classification, category, estimated retail price, comment of wine， etc. will be shown.
・The wine which has been searched for one time can be saved to my favorite folder and read again easily.
・The number of wine brands will be increased and the application contents will be enriched and updated in the future.
What's New in Version 1.1.1
The number of wine glossaries has been increased from 348 to 543 words.

Not very useful and must update!!
Bought this today. Not user friendly at all-need to be more interactive. Must keep up-to-date the vintage chart. The wine search database needs to be enlarged. Especially to include more day-to-day drinking wines than just the expensive wines
Do Not Buy
Could not find ANY wines that were on a wine list at a nice restaurant in Seattle, WA. None of the wines from France, Italy, Germany, not even WA. This app is a waste of money. Do not buy this app.
