Description
Please note: When you launch Word of the Day it will launch as a menu bar icon at the top-right of your screen. Click its icon or the word to open the Word of the Day menu. If your menu bar is completely full you may not see the Word of the Day icon until space is available for it.
Improve your vocabulary! Get a new word displayed in your menu bar every day. Click the menu to see the word definition, synonyms, and a usage example. Click again on the word to hear an audio sample of how the word is pronounced!
All words are kindly supplied with permission by The Free Dictionary (thefreedictionary.com)

App Did Not Work
Word of the Day app icon appeared in top menu bar however the program never launched. "Unable to download words, check connection then click here to retry” Program never connected even though I’m currenlty connected to the internet right now writing this review. Hopefully the developers fix this issue soon or someone else creates on that actually works.
Fun App
This app is super cool to have, because it is interesting and it adds some swag to your home page. The words aren’t always challenging and sometimes they are weird slang type words, but it doesn’t hurt to refine your idea of terms that you THINK you already know. With all of this said, It does provide you with good words every so often. There are some bugs and it is not perfect, but If you don’t like it, then get another word of the day app! Oh wait….
Doesn’t Work
When I tried to use no words came up and sometimes it would say “check connection” but I had perfect wifi. Thought I would give it a few days but didn’t end up changing. Great idea for an app. Wish it worked or there were other similar ones
