old school Gernan fun time
I needed something to time my strudel. It's always burning cos the "beep beep beep" of our Bosch oven sounds so much like my alarm that I ignore it. And you know how baking German things just makes you snooze. Or are they Austrian? Whatever the case may be, Teutonic things like BMWs, Mercedes, Bosch, and other highly efficient but generally boring products just sort of make you tune out. I needed a Gordon Ramsey type thing to keep me in line so my strudels wouldn't burn, stinking up the house and leaving the family starving for dessert. But I have a 4 year old so a Gordon Ramsey was out of the question; he'd blush at my daughter's colourful language. Fortunately for me, and the family's sweet tooth, I stumbled upon this wonderful alpine cow. It's a refreshing return to the Brother's Grimm version wunderland of Saxony rather than the current Teutonic legacy of german products. Long story short: my strudel doesn't burn cos I never want to miss that cow's fall.
