Good, stable full function bank app.

This app is for Zions Bank account holders. Instantly see your account balance, deposit checks (certain limitations and restrictions apply) with your camera, pay bills and make transfers between Zions internal bank accounts and even with external accounts.
I have been a Zions customer for more than fifteen years. It has been such a terrific bank that even though I moved east (for my job) and the nearest bank location is now more than 800 miles away I have continued banking with Zions. This app is almost like having a local bank branch in my pocket.
Every function simply works and very easy to use, with functions grouped intuitively. However, my only dislike is that some of the navigation labels leave a little to be desired. Once you have used the app a little bit navigating around inside the app is easy and natural. As I said using a function in the app is easy, finding the functionality in the app can be difficult until you have used the app a few times and become familiar with it.

Settings screen is blank

I get just a blank screen under the settings screen in the app so biometrics options can’t be enabled. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and still no go. Biometrics (face recognition) are enabled on my iPhone X and work fine in other apps. This has been a problem in this app for well over a year and on previous phones for finger recognition. I’m not happy that I have a security risk every time I open the app and have to not only re enter my password but it also doesn’t store my login despite enabling the login to be stored at the login screen.

***UPDATE: I read through other comments and once again deleted the app as the developer suggested for others reporting the same issue in prior posts. Although I know I tried deleting and reinstalling the app as recently as just 5 months ago, I figured MAYBE it was worth one more try. Surprisingly, It did work.

Clearly the developer needs to really work on getting these issues resolved without deleting the app again or at the very least offer a message to all mobile clients IN THE APP that the bug can’t be fixed with just an update. Why waste so many people’s time when you know of a solution and that it occurs with a broad spectrum of users for iPhones??? Do you really think there are many users out there willing to spend this kind of time trying to tell you about your bug? Do your customers a favor zions bank and be a little more proactive about this.

Horrible app update

The new update is horrible! The font size is too big to see all the information (yes, you can switch to condensed view in some areas, which helps, but this isn’t available everywhere), too many menus to navigate, too many steps to move through, and my biggest complaint is not being able to see my credit card transactions in the app! I’m redirected to the credit card website, which is horrible in and of itself. I’ve used the app in the past in order to avoid going to the poorly designed credit card website and now I’m forced to use it, making me want to take my credit card business elsewhere. The only reason why we have a credit card with Zions is to have all our banking in one place. This new update defeats that purpose. I appreciate the attempt to add more features to the app, but by taking away features and adding more steps, it’s definitely not “simplified”.
