In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being part of a hip-hop group, Uppa Dek, as an opening act for the Scream Tour in the Woodlands. We performed on the stages by the entrances, and it was my first time signing autographs and taking pictures with fans up close and personal. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Byron Bank, Change II: A Dreamer’s Reality Byron Bank, Change Byron Bank, Drank & Bottled Up Emotions "Change" was my first entirely produced studio album. "Drank & Bottled Up Emotions" highlights a point in my life where personal struggles and life took a toll on me. Then, "Change II" was the first album where I entirely produced every track. Mani Starz) - Single "Black Rose" is about my lovely grandmother and best friend, who passed away in 2020. The title comes from her nickname and highlights how special she was to me. The love and wisdom she displayed left a permanent mark and will forever be missed. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It would be becoming a voting member of the Recording Academy and attending the 60th Grammy Awards for the first time. My musical catalog and accomplishments allowed me to enter this academy, where I could network with other music professionals. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist, I would like to meet with Jay-Z and J. Cole in person and pick their brain or possibly get a featured verse from both. Also, my goal is to make it on stage and perform at Coachella and Rolling Loud.
