Biography
Lucenzo is a Portuguese singer, producer, and songwriter who broke through in 2010 with the reggaeton hit "Vem Dançar Kuduro." Born Filipe Oliveira in Paris, France, Lucenzo became a staple on Portuguese radio around 2008. His 2009 single "Dame Reggaeton" climbed to the top of the Portuguese charts, and then in early 2010 he collaborated with rapper Big Ali on the English/Portuguese single "Vem Dançar Kuduro." Later that same year a Spanish-language version of the track with special guest Don Omar was released as "Danza Kuduro." Capitalizing on the international success of these two tracks, his 2007 single "Emigrante del Mundo" was re-released in France and became one of that country's top club hits in 2011.
