Biography

Magna-Fi featured Mike Szuter (vocals/guitar), his brother C.J. Szuter (guitar), Charlie Smaldino (drums), and Rob Kley (bass). From their Las Vegas home base the combo honed a hooky hard rock sound suggestive of Failure or early Stone Temple Pilots, and began gigging regularly around town. Magna-Fi signed with Arizona-based Aezra for the 2002 full-length Burn Out the Stars.
