In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At eight years old, I got my first guitar. It was a small black acoustic guitar. Looking back, it was probably very cheap, but that guitar meant the world to me. I didn't put that guitar down for the longest time after first trying it out. D'Angelo, Voodoo Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered Stevie Wonder, Innervisions Remastered These albums capture every single aspect that I love about music perfectly. Raw musicianship, to the point that it feels like second nature. Honesty and vulnerability in concept and execution. Passion for the art. Timelessness. Creativity unmatched. The goal was to create a representation of the feeling of loss. It was a way of letting go of a lot of things that needed that kind of release. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Some highlights so far in my career include recognition and love from musicians and artists including T-Pain, H.E.R., and Kenny Beats. It's always affirming to receive love from people of their stature, almost like confirmation that I belong here. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
