Mitchel Musso

Actor/musician Mitchel Musso, best known for his role as Okin Oken in the Disney sitcom Hannah Montana, followed in the footsteps of that show's title star, Miley Cyrus, releasing his self-titled debut album in 2009. The kid brother of Mason Musso, singer and guitarist for emo pop band Metro Station, the younger Musso credits his elder sibling, and indie fare such as MGMT, as prime musical inspirations. While hipster credibility seems a long shot, Musso's brand of clean-cut pop, featured on various Disney-branded compilations and film soundtracks, captivated tween audiences and extended the franchise's already sizeable music offerings.
