Biography

Singer/songwriter Noam Weinstein launched his recording career after moving to New York City in 1999, where he became involved with the Greenwich Village songwriting community led by Jack Hardy. His first release, Enough About You (2001), featured Rich Kulsar (percussion), Kyle Turner (bass), and Cary Brown (keyboards). A year later he returned with a second album, Above the Music, which featured a new band: David Berger (percussion), Dave Richards (bass), and Zhivago (piano/guitar). Probably Human (2004) and We're All Going There (2006) followed, also on his own MM imprint, before moving to Skycap for 2009's Sixteen Skies. From 2008-2009, Weinstein released a series of two-song singles online. Found Alive, his first live album, landed in 2010. Weinstein's music has also been featured on the TV show Weeds.
