Biography

Rocketship Park is one of several twangy pop projects Brooklyn-based vocalist and songwriter Josh Kaufman busied himself with in the early 2000s. Backed by a large cast of characters, including Mike Phillips, Eric Jackson, Brian Kantor, Kevin Fish, Rob Burger, Bryan Devendorf, Travis Harrison, Andrew Fuller, Jordan Crowell, and Kaufman's fellow Mansfields bandmate Annie Nero, Kaufman formulated a heartfelt, infectious sound that nodded to acts like Wilco, An Angle, and Beachwood Sparks. Rocketship Park's debut album, Off & Away, was released on Serious Business Records in 2008.
