Florida-based singer/songwriter Roy Jay's first album, Lucky Guy (2009), earned comparisons to Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, and Jimmy Buffett. He adopted more of a blues-rock sound for its follow-up, Fairfax Avenue, released by Rock Ridge Music on August 31, 2010.
