Stars Go Dim

Stars Go Dim formed in 2007 as a side project for three members of Pillar, a Christian rock band based in Tulsa, OK. While recording Pillar’s fifth album, bassist Michael Wittig and drummer Lester Estelle II began working on music for a different project, eventually roping touring guitarist Joey Avalos and local vocalist Chris Cleveland into the lineup as well. Wittig, Estelle, and Avalos officially left Pillar the following year, and Stars Go Dim made their studio debut that October with the release of a self-titled EP. Basing themselves in Tulsa, they continued writing songs, eventually returning in 2009 with the full-length Love Gone Mad.
