Nirvana, Nevermind Pixies, Doolittle Weezer, Weezer I listened mostly to Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, George Harrison, Del Shannon and older rockers as a kid. With one foot also in punk rock, I gravitated naturally to the Pixies, Nirvana and Weezer's songwriting, sound and edge. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sail Away (Sun-Ra)” My father is a commercial fisherman, and my sister and I used to go out with him on the high seas and realized how truly magical, beautiful and dangerous it is out there. Most of our childhood he was gone fishing most of the year.
