Sun Airway

The Philadelphia-based duo Sun Airway is Jon Barthmus and Patrick Marceill, formerly of the A-Sides. The band's sound melds smooth, glistening electronics, ethereal sonic textures, and indie pop/rock dynamics and melodies. Sun Airway's first EP, Oh, Naoko, was issued as a giveaway in mid-2010, and the pair subsequently did remixes for Delorean, Here We Go Magic, the Hundred in the Hands, and Caribou. Their debut full-length, Nocturne of Exploded Crystal Chandelier, was released by Dead Oceans in the fall of the same year.
