Biography
Formed in 2008 by singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Kelly Pratt (Arcade Fire, Beirut), Brooklyn, NY-based indie pop outfit Team B draw their inspiration from a diverse musical palette that includes lounge, power pop, comedy, and experimental rock. While primarily a vehicle for Pratt’s myriad talents, the group is bolstered by an all-star cast of indie rockers including drummer Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem), bass player Richard Reed Parry (Arcade Fire), and Jon Natchez and Perrin Cloutier (Beirut). Team B’s eponymous debut, which drew favorable comparisons to everyone from Ween to Weezer, arrived independently in May 2009.
