Biography
Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalists Craig Gordon and David "Letdown" Bolt first teamed up in the late ‘90s as a left-field hip-hop duo. Their music gradually evolved into an atmospheric, introspective combination of laptop electronica and Bolt's layered keyboards, overlaid with Gordon's dreamy shoegazer-style guitar and Interpol-esque vocals. Christening themselves the Delta Mirror, Gordon and Bolt eventually added bassist Karrie K. and signed with the Lefse label. Issued in early 2010, their debut album, Machines That Listen, was a concept record on which each song was set in different rooms of a fictional hospital.
