Biography

Chris Diamantis (vocals), Nate Lane (guitar), Jared Colby (guitar), Nate Fiske (bass), and Geoff Bahre (drums) make up deathcore outfit the Hostage Heart, which they founded in Worcester, MA, toward the end of 2003. Originally calling themselves Sky Cutting Stars, the quintet quickly took their frightening heavy metal onslaught (paradoxically filled with positive ideals steeped in both straight-edge and Christian values) on the road before closing out the year with a four-song EP entitled The First Signs of Worldly Cancer. 2004 saw a follow-up six-tracker called Where There Is Despair, Hope; become the first release by brand new Five Point Records.
