Ulla Meinecke

Born in 1953 in Usingen/Taunus, Germany, self-described "rock poet" Ulla Meinecke has spent much of her career shaping, deconstructing, and ultimately delivering the complexities of love from a distinctly female perspective. Her albums include Von Toten Tigern und Nassen Katzen, Meinecke Fuchs, Uberdosis Grosstadt, Nachtelang, Löwen, Die Luft Ist Rein, and (most recently) Ulla Meinecke — Das Album.
