Biography
Los Angeles-based quintet Ziroq burst into the world music scene in 2001 with a captivating fusion of different styles based on multicultural influences. Named after Sirocco, a mythical wind blowing from the Sahara desert up to Southern Europe, the band debuted with the release of a self-titled album featuring the hit single "Closer to Me." Led by singer/songwriter and flamenco guitarist Marcus Nand, Ziroq delivers a broad range of musical knowledge and refined performances with lyrics in both Spanish and English.
