Catastrophe Part 1

"Catastrophe: A Special Report on Japan's 3/11 Quake and Tsunami (Part I)," by AJW (Asahi Japan Watch), the English-language digital version of The Asahi Shimbun, is a record of the March 11 mega-earthquake, tsunami and subsequent nuclear plant crisis.

The richly illustrated photo book comprises several sections. The first volumn, devoted to the nuclear crisis, is a chronological package of AJW articles that helps readers understand what occurred at the stricken Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant.

The second volume consists of human interest stories of survivors, people  searching for their loved ones and volunteers from all over Japan helping those affected by the earthquake, tsunami and the nuclear crisis.
