Supporting Children in Sustainability

This book has been written for educators of young children who wish to learn more about the environment and how to encourage children to embrace sustainable practices at a young age.  

 

This book is a compendium of the four individual Enviro Educator series short books including:

- Supporting Children in Sustainability 

- Energy Efficiency for Educators 

 

The term childcare is used throughout this book as a generic reference to all forms of early education services used around the world such as daycare, kindergartens, early learning, nurseries, vacation care and out of school hours care.  

 

The term also recognizes the growing number of parents of young children who have taken the decision to ‘home school’.
