Glorious Angel
Good western/historic romance. Lots of twists and turns. Brad’s character had a lot of mistrust and jealousy. A little too much even for a book. Angela’s character I liked in the beginning of the story but once it came to her with brad she was a little annoying.
One of my favorites
I have to admit that I have every book that Johanna Lindsey has ever written but Glorious Angel will always hold a special place in my heart. At the age of 16 it was the very first romance book I had ever bought on my own and I've been hooked on her books ever since. There was something about Angela and her situation that tugs at your heart strings and when she finds this great love only to have it snatched away by a lie she leaves those that she has come to love and moves across the country. She runs into many memorable characters along the way (one even got his own book out of it!). When her true love comes to the ranch the tension, anger, hatred, and jealously all rear their ugly head and hurtful words and actions take place between the lovers.
I still have the original book and the only person I've ever lent it to was my best friend (we lived together at the time). She loved it so much that she considers it her favorite book!!!
