THE SHIELD OF THREE LIONS
I read this book when it first came out in 1988!!! I loved it and since then I have re-read it at least six more times. The characters in this book are unbelievable ... the story is so imaginative. I always hoped that someone would turn this into a movie or a series but it never happened. I often hoped that Oprah Winfrey would choose this book as one of her book club picks but, alas, that did not happen either. Maybe it's because it's over 20 years old but, trust me, when you start reading this book you will not be able to put it down. My copy is a little torn up and yellowed and I always wanted to get a replacement for it but the title was always out of print. Now, I can get it on my iPad ... Love it! Listen to me .... read this book .... You will not be disappointed.
