Seth has been charged with breaking one of the Gods from Olympus in order to give Noir the key to bringing down that pantheon. Lydia has gone into Azmodea, a neither realm, in order to rescue that God. When she is captured by Seth he plans to use her to finally get what he needs. Lydia is half Dream-Hunter, half Jackal. She has been hidden away so her father’s enemies can never harm her. She moves a lot and has never been able to acknowledge her father. Seth’s story is one of the more heartbreaking stories so far. He has known nothing but abuse in his long life. I love this book and their love story.
