Maggie, Oliver and the Professor
A heart warming story that I was drawn into from the first chapter. I thought the book was very well written and touched on some very realistic topics. The author shared the plight of children in the foster care system and their struggles to trust their foster parents. As was the case with Oliver often these kids come from heart braking situations where they have had to deal with losing a parent to drug over dose. The Author also touched on how the loss of a loved one can often change a person and their out look on life. This was the case with Neil Hamilton . I thought the story was very well written. Near the ending of the book a unpredictable situation had me on the edge of my seat and wringing my hands. Overall I loved the story and I gave it five stars. Worth my while to read and I consider the book to be a keeper. I highly recommend it.
