Endless twists and turns.
This story is full of twists and turns, keeping the reader on the edge of the seat. After all, there is a baby involved here - one that needs protection. Emma has lost her parents in a vehicle accident, which was perhaps not an accident? Was the decorated, newly returned marine, Jake, the one that was in the crosshairs or was it Sergeant Daria from the local police force? It could not possibly be baby Emma!
Between numerous gunshots, a gas explosion and more you will question who on earth is behind all of this. Is there a dirty cop involved? How will this reunion of childhood friends end?
