Gnarly book real good I haven't really got in to it but it is good
Poor story line
A good novel is supposed to tell a story. While I appreciated the attention and honest to God foresight for military and clandestine service background readers, the story lacks a lot of substance that a good spy novel needs in order to attach with its readers. This book started off with a lot of potential, but half way through you realize that parts of some chapters seem like they were written by a fifteen year old boy, not an acclaimed author. It all concludes rather flatly, with no real suspense or grand twist. I expected more.

I think the words I am looking for are: "pretty dumb".
It's an insult to anyone who has any knowledge of the military.
This book is basically nothing more than hackneyed, pompous dialogue, non-stop, annoying banter and a confusing and incomplete story line coupled by truly ridiculous (lame) scenarios. Plus has this guy ever actually met and talked to a woman?
If you need to find a way to waste time this may be it, but you will find yourself skipping through much of the unrealistic story line.
This is really not a good book. Bought it to pass the time on a long plane ride and should have just slept instead. I wish I could forget the whole thing.
