During the robbery, Poole fatally shoots four drug dealers and one of their granddaughters, a six-year-old girl. Davenport, a former Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension official who's now a U.S. marshal with the freedom to take on any case he wants anywhere in the country, decides to go after Poole. Absolutely enjoyable!
Mr. Sanford has again proven that he’s a wonderful story teller. I was hooked when I read Rules of Prey so many years ago and I will continue to be a fan.
Thoroughly satisfied my bloodlust!
Liked the entertaining narrative throughout. For me, it’s a steep challenge to keep the characters’ names straight. First names pop up after using last names for SEVERAL pages, then nicknames get inserted so as to keep me on the toes! But really enjoyed the story. And appreciate the authors effort to keep somewhat neutral on politics. Always gets my antenna “up” when I get clues about the heroes’ character. Don’t wanna root for some clueless lackey who’s defending the wrong kinda people😂
